What is stress?

According to WebMD, stress affects us all. You may notice symptoms of stress when disciplining your kids, during busy times at work, when managing your finances, or when coping with a challenging relationship. Stress is everywhere. Yes! Exactly, stress is everywhere. It may affect your daily routine, decision making, critical thinking, both mentally and physically. If the stress controls you, you will suffer anxiety, overthinking and negative thoughts. So don’t allow it to control you, you should know how to handle it. Ask for some medication if you can’t control anymore. So here’s some tips that can help you manage your stress.

Stay positive

We all know that there are times that we are down because of the problems that suddenly occur. Don’t dwell too much on the problem. Focus on how you can solve it, list your possible solutions and identify what’s the best solution for the problem. Negativity can drag you down and can affect your productivity as well.

Social Media detox

Instead of scrolling your social media accounts, try to detox because social media may increase your stress level. Try to uninstall all your social media accounts for a week and see the difference. Also, try to look at any books from your shelf.

Exercise

Exercise reduces levels of the body’s stress hormones, such as adrenaline and cortisol. You may install an application to your phone and look at some preferred exercise you want to try. You can also try yoga.

Healthy diet

Yes to a healthy diet. Set a schedule to go to a market where you find cheap and fresh vegetables and fruits. Grab your eco bag, make a list and go! Healthy diet also reduces your anxiety. This is also the right time to have time for yourself.

Meditate

Go to places where you can relax. Eliminate all negative factors in your life and let positivity replace it. Listen to some ambient sounds or music. Just take a deep breath and believe that everything will be alright.

Change your habit

Change your habits such as sleeping early, having your meal on time, taking a bath everyday to freshen your mind, keeping your environment clean and organizing every time.
