Disadvantages and Advantages of working from home

Here’s are some advantages and disadvantages of working from home:
Advantages
- Higher salary offers/rates
- Almost all freelancers are based outside our country like the US, Australia, India, etc. So, technically speaking, freelancers can have higher incomes. The starting rate of being a freelancer is 3$ to 5$ for an hour.
- Less facing of traffic jams and long queues
- Experiencing traffic jams almost every day can lead to an increase in your stress level. It can mess up your makeup or outfit. Standing in a long queue from department stores, terminals and restaurants can have back pain. Imagine if you are working from home and lucky you, you can’t experience this situation.
- More savings
- Instead of ordering some foods and drinks at restaurants or stalls, you just need to prepare healthy foods and smoothie drinks from your grocery. It can also eliminate the temptation to buy food cravings of yours. Aside from saving your time as well, you can also save from transportation fees.
- More time with your loved ones
- When you’re working from home, you can have more time with your family in the four walls of your home. This is a great advantage when you have a kid or one of your family members needs your attention and care. So this is the right place for you.
- Flexible time
- You own your time. You can time in and out anytime as long as you render the required working hours. If you have a flexible time you can properly divide your responsibilities or personal obligations.
- Avoid air pollution and diseases/ flu
- Your home is one of the safest places to avoid some transmitted diseases/flu’s like cough, runny nose, tuberculosis, etc. Regarding air pollution, yes, you are helping your health to live longer and you can breathe some fresh air compared to those people who are working in urban areas.
Disadvantages
- Fewer interactions with your friends
- There’s a chance that you can have fewer interactions with your friends because you are away from the city where your group of friends is close to one place and yet you are working from home.
- Internet connection or electricity stability
- There’s a time that you suddenly lost your internet connection due to bad weather or a damaged post that connects to your house. Electric shortage can decrease your productivity.
- Optional government benefits
- Freelancers can receive the full amount of their salary without any deductions from the government. So, you have to pay for your government benefits by yourself
