By Barbara Carubio
If you feel that you don’t have any time to do all the tasks, then this is the time to pause, take a break and manage your task and time properly. Here are some lists to boost your productivity.
Take a regular break
Practice yourself whenever you’re so busy or not, take a regular break. Taking a break will fresh your mind and help to improve your concentration. Also, you should try after 25 minutes of working, take a break for 5 minutes.
Time management
Before you start everything, you must divide your time properly for various tasks. There’s a lot of time management apps that you can find and try on the internet.
Eliminate all distractions
Stay focused to boost your productivity. Eliminate all distractions like your phones, social media and any entertainment that can cause you to delay your task or projects. Mute or keep on silent on all your social media notifications.
One task a time
Multitasking reduces your productivity. Why? Simply because our brain can only focus on one thing at a time. According to research, multitasking reduces productivity by as much as 40%. This is because toggling between multiple tasks limits your focus, hampers working memory and increases stress and mental fatigue.
Eat healthy foods
Eating healthy foods keeps your brain properly fueled. The WHO reports that “adequate nutrition can raise your productivity levels by 20 percent on average.” You will be able to focus on and accomplish any task when you are eating healthy foods.
Reward yourself
You will have something to look forward to after all your stress and pressure on your projects/tasks. Treat yourself because you did your best.
Have a plenty of rest
Good sleep can help you to think clearly and to eliminate burnout. One study of 4,188 U.S. workers found “significantly worse productivity, performance, and safety outcomes” among those who slept less, and estimated a $1,967 loss in productivity per worker due to poor sleep.
