Join me on Saturday, May 29th from 9:30-10am ET on 94.5 WMUU out of Greenville, SC. I’ll be talking with Jay Handler, the host of Open For Business radio show!
A good friend of mine, also a business owner, and I have this conversation over and over:
As a business owner, you may charge an hourly rate to your clients. If you do, you know it’s tough when you think of all of the hours you work in a week that you cannot bill to your clients. You may work 45 hours one week, but you can only bill for 25 of those. The other 20 are spent on paperwork, confirming appointments, re-scheduling appointments, updating your website, researching prospects and that new competitor that just popped up in your area.
Virtual assistants are key to growing your business. Transition the non-billable tasks to them and focus on getting in front of more prospects, writing more proposals and closing more deals. Your time in front of customers is worth much more than working behind the scenes on administrative details. Adding more clients to the roster definitely outweighs exhaustion from never finishing the task list keeping you from growing your business!
